Ms. Saha joined the Department of Philosophy in March, 2005 before which she was Lecturer in Philosophy at the Acharya B. N. Seal College in Coochbehar, West Bengal. She is a registered Ph.D. student, engaged in research on Hindu Ethics under Professor Srilekha Datta. She has formerly held a Junior Research Fellowship under the UGC at the Department of Philosophy, Jadavpur University. She qualified her Masters in Philosophy from Jadavpur University, after which she also completed her Bachelor in Education from Bijoy Krishna Girl's College in Howrah, West Bengal. Ms. Saha is also academically interested in psychological issues and issues in Comparative Religion. She likes Indian music, particularly Tagore's songs.
