LOPAMUDRA CHOUDHURY, Ph.D.
 

Dr. Choudhury received the degree of Ph.D. from Rajasthan University in Jaipur, in the year 1992. She joined the Department of Philosophy, Jadavpur University as a lecturer in 1999.

Dr. Choudhury's research interests lie in areas as varied as Mathematical Logic, Logic of Diagrams, Philosophy of Cognition, Environmental Ethics and Natural Language Processing. She is also academically interested in Art and Music Appreciation. Outside of academics, she is very interested in photography and that perhaps relates to her love of nature and things natural. She is also an engaged gardener and is especially interested in flower arrangements. Dr. Choudhury is also involved in social work and is the President of Setu, an organisation involved in work of social relevance.
